CORRINE NEEDS A FUREVER HOME!! If you are viewing Corrine’s bio on Petfinder, please click below for more information. Name: Corrine Best guest as to breed: Lab/ Weimaraner Mix Best guess as to Age: 14 weeks as of 2/1 Gender: Female Approximately Weight: 20 lbs Has lived with: dogs Currently Living at: scary rural shelter Special adoption considerations: very young, no 9-5ers unless proof of twice a day dog walker Hello, my name is Corrine and I'm an 14 week old, 20 pound, female, Lab/Weimaraner Mix puppy. My brothers and I are waiting patiently for our forever homes. Our foster home is great, but we'd love to have homes of our very own. We were really excited to come to DC and hopefully find someone to love us, but we're kind of nervous, too. Everything is so big and new and different! We're looking for someone to cuddle us close and tell us everything will be okay. Are you that person? We've heard a little about forever homes from some of the bigger dogs in the shelter. They sound like a dream come true! We've heard you sometimes get your very own little bed and some toys to share and even some yummy treats. But we're most looking forward to the cuddles and kisses and love. We just can't wait for a family or person of our own to love with our whole puppy hearts! We're pretty little still, so we'll need some help learning the ropes. We can do it though, we're really smart and we just want to make you happy and proud of us. We think puppy kindergarten at an obedience school sounds really great. We think we'd like nice long walks and trips to the dog park, too, if it's not too much to ask. Do you think you can help us navigate this great big new world? Corrine is not old enough to have had all of her vaccines. It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, she is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog. Due to his young age, Corrine has not been spayed. As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 4/15/18! Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom excursions, we do not adopt dogs under 5 months of age to homes where no one is home during the day. This means no 9-5ers, unless you commit to hiring a dog walker to come multiple times a day. Like most puppies, Corrine will need to work on his housetraining. He will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog! The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of transport from the shelter and routine vetting. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Kristen at kristenn@luckydoganimalrescue.org. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantee about age, breed, or temperament. Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Weimaraner / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $200. Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known. Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available. Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes? Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email. We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team Toys and people - people and toys - make life complete. Date into Rescue: 5/30/2017 Reason for being in rescue: Found as a stray in eastern North Carolina Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? None noted Weight: 50 lb Height: about 24 in at the shoulder Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? Yes, she is very energetic! What kind of home would be best for me? Mia would be great in a number of settings as long as her people are energetic and do a lot. She is a lot of girl. She is good with other dogs and didn't react to our cats here, so should be good with a cat in the home. She is not a fan of children 10 years or younger; her forever home must have older, mature kids or adults only. What is my personality like? Mia is very affectionate. She loves people. She also loves toys. She will chase after them and play. She can sit on command and seems to listen really well. Still has a habit of jumping up on people, but that can be corrected. How do I act when I first meet new people? Mia needs an active home that understands that big girls need play time and running time. She'd be a great running companion. Other tips and tidbits: She has lots of energy and does well with the big dogs in the field. She doesn't pay any mind to the little dogs. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR.

    Breed: Labmaraner
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Weimaraner / Mixed (short coat). To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application. Joey is a handsome 1 year-old Lab/Weimaraner mix male who was adopted from a shelter as a pup and returned recently because he was too big and strong for his elderly owners. He was terrified at the shelter and not adjusting well there so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would be able to relax in a foster home while finding himself a permanent new home. Joey is a very friendly dog but lacks confidence in new situations. He seems to be head shy so may have been mistreated in the past. He will need a home with a dog savvy owner who has the knowledge to work with a nervous dog. Joey gets along well with other dogs but can be protective of his food around them. He does well in a crate and is likely to be housetrained too. This boy has a lot of potential and is going to make a great companion for the right person or family. He weighs about 62 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Joey. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Joey and to submit an online application.

Posted Breed: Weimaraner / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 500. Please contact Jenny Cope (giveadogahome@live.com), 207-852-7211 for more information about this pet. All pets adopted out will be spay/neutered, micro-chipped, de-wormed,heartworm tested, rabies and relevant vaccinations. NO DOG WILL BE ADOPTED TO BE AN OUTSIDE DOG! If you would like to start the adoption our process is below: Submit Application with two personal references and a vet reference. As long as we are able to contact your vet and references, it takes just 1-3 days to process and hopefully approve applications. Rescue processes and hopefully approves applications. Once approved, rescue invites applicant to come to the rescue to meet your chosen dog/s, spend time with him/her and then hopefully take him/her home. Once approved you are more than welcome to come and spend as long as you like with her/him . I just have to work on an appointment basis as I run a boarding/day care business and the rescue and so am really busy, but by planning ahead of time I can be pretty flexible. http://www.giveadogahome-sanantonio.org/adoption-application.html ERNIE will be arriving at the rescue in Sebec, Maine by Sunday 30th April 2017, until then we do not have any information to offer. We will gladly accept applications so that we can process and hopefully get you pre-approved to adopt. Please do NOT waste our time by email asking for more information as those emails will be deleted. ERNIE was saved from a shelter in Texas. He is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heart-worm and tick disease (SNAP 4DX) tested negative and micro-chipped. He has been estimated date of birth of 12 August 2015 and weighs around 36 pounds. We do not have cats in the rescue so are unable to comment on how he would be around them. ERNIE is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $500. This fee is not negotiable and is used to cover the rescue costs of pulling, vetting, health certificate, transport from Texas to Maine, monthly preventatives, supplements, food and anything else that is needed. If you feel that you have the heart and home to give this precious soul a wonderful life, please go to our website, under the APPLICATION tab, complete, then submit the APPLICATION. Our process takes around 2-4 days, and ensuring your references are aware that we will be calling, could speed up the process. Once you have been approved, we discuss any questions in regards to the dog you are wanting to adopt, then you complete and submit the contract, make payment and then we can work out the pick up / transport arrangements. Please do NOT submit an application if you are not looking to take home a new best friend within the next few weeks. http://www.giveadogahome-sanantonio.org ERNIE WILL BE located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls. Families will need to be prepared to travel to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. There is a local hotel in Dover-Foxcroft that is pet-friendly (approx 6 miles) and several in Bangor (approx 45 miles). There are also lots of wonderful camp-sites for the more adventurous families and what a great way to get to know your new best friend. If there are options to arrange transport, we will work with you to make it happen.
