Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Alaskan Malamute / Mixed. Bear is a 16 month old male whose DNA says he is part gsd, malamute, and cattle dog. Bear is house trained to use the dog door, has good manners for leaving human things alone and loves to play with toys. He was isolated from people and other dogs growing up so he is just now learning how to live. He is a happy boy, great at fetch, learning how to walk on a leash and getting use to car rides. He was tested with a cat and completely ignored him so a little bit of time and training he should be fine. He is okay with female dogs but has no clue how to play. If you have a female who can teach him that would be awesome but he will be fine as the only doggie. Bear will need someone who is willing to take things slow at the beginning to show him life is good. We are looking for a home with no young kids but teens should be ok for Bear.
