Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200. Hi! My name is Sunny, and just like my name, my personality shines bright. I am the perfect companion. Snuggle appreciator, smart, and squeaky toy connoisseur are just a few of my greater talents. Just check my references. I enjoy taking walks and smelling all the smells, but tend to pull on the leash if not checked on occasion. Sometimes, I just need a verbal prompt. I’m looking for a companion who doesn’t mind my occasional zoomies (I am 55 pounds after all), can give me my daily allergy pill (preferably with peanut butter), and is moderately experienced with dogs. I came from a situation where having a home, food, water, and being loved was NOT a guarantee. Because of this, I become protective and tend to defend my home. Anyone who does not live in the home feels like a stranger to me. I need someone to help me work through these issues. When I do become comfortable with someone, I am outstanding at giving love and attention. I do need time to adjust to other dogs in the home, but do not appreciate feline or small critter residents due to my prey drive. I am a good eater, and am house trained. On the rare occasion, I may bark, especially if I am wanting to go outside. But, I am highly motivated by treats, and am easily corrected in this way. I just can’t wait to join your home! I always add a little sunshine wherever I go! Sunny weighs 55 lbs and is from a Reservation Partner.
