Posted Breed: French Bulldog (short coat). * **DFW area only-No Exceptions*** We all loved them, it's the This Is Us family! Meet Sophie! Sophie is a 6 weeks old puppy (as of 6/26/22) who was born in the LHS foster program. Sophie is available for pre-adoption due to her young age and if pre-adopted, may go home to her new family after 7/03/2022. Sophie's mom was surrendered pregnant to the shelter by the breeder that was using her and exploiting her for profit, Rebecca was emaciated and injured. Her foster mom saw her picture and the shelters plea for help and she had a feeling this mom and her unborn babies needed help. The shelter gave her lots of love and care and Legacy Humane stepped in to oversee the rest of her care and the birth of her family. Sophie loves to be petted, especially belly rubs, and is very affectionate. She loves her humans and snuggles with them. She likes to be held and snuggled against her loved one's neck, she settles in and will even fall asleep. Puppies at this age require patience and training to become the best pup they can be. She is in a home with small and large dogs. She does well with all of these animals. Current weight 5 lbs Projected weight 25-30 lbs. We are requesting a donation of $1,000 for the adoption which includes her spay, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
