She hasn’t met kids or cats yet, but if you have them, we can test her out! Story: Little Jack came to us from a shelter in North Carolina! We are just not sure how he ended up in there! Jack loves all people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. He knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with his humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Jack is just looking for someone to be his new best furend and we know that he will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Because he is still so young, Jack will need an adopter who is committed to setting him up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising him both mentally and physically. He will also need a lot of love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Jack is doing wonderful overall- he is sweet, affectionate, and loves to snuggle. He seems to still be a little nervous generally, but he’s probably still settling in. Even though his front left leg bothers him, he still occasionally wants to jump on things (we caught him managing to jump on the bed yesterday- and the couch today). He’s very sprightly!. He also likes to jump lightly on us with his paws and just lean there, especially when he’s saying hello after we’ve been gone. Jack also might be part meerkat? Kidding! Jack is friendly and expresses interest in other dogs while on his walks. He and our dog Richard are getting along very well. Jack is also eating all his meals and meds like a champ.
