Brida ready to go 7/11
Croydon, NH, 03773 USAUSA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Great Pyrenees / Mixed (long coat). Brida has more of the choc lab appearance than her siblings. She was also the largest pup and is quiet and laid back. Momma Sheba came to us from KY very pregnant. She gave birth to her babies here on the farm on May 16th. Mom looks to be a great pyrenees mix. All of the 11 puppies ( typical size of GP litter) are black with white. Several have shorter fur like a lab and are chocolate color. We sent off a DNA test pups are lab pyr mixes. Please visit our website for more pictures of this dog and info on our adoption process and application which is located on the left column under "forms & applications" : barkdogfarm.rescuegroups Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees. They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash. You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries. Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called. A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place. If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid. Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized, up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate. Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. A.K.A.: Pyrador, PyrelabMore About Labrenees Breed
Labrenees or Pyrador is the mix of one large-sized dog; the Great Pyrenees and one medium-sized dog; Labrador Retriever. As a hybrid, it has better quality than its parent breeds as the traits and characteristics are mixed. These are very large dogs that are typically more cooperative and trainable than the Great Pyrenees, but more discriminating and naturally protective than the Labrador Retriever.See more...
