Description
Posted Breed: Great Pyrenees / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $685. Age: 3 yrs (as of 6/1/22) Weight: 78.2 lbs (as of 6/20/22) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Sheba Dragon is a majestic pup! Sheba Dragon was recently a mom to two males, Dippy and Mushu (also available through SOSARL), and we are thinking she is a great pyrenees and lab mix based on her appearance. They are from an owner surrender down in Arkansas as a result of the owners losing their home, so these pups and their mother are on the hunt for their new forever home! She is fully integrated into her current foster home has two cats, four dogs, two adults and two younger children. She is friendly with the adults, kids, and other dogs, and is tolerant of the cats. Her energy level appears to be about moderate to high; she seems to enjoy spending a lot of time outside and would do well with a home that would be able to provide her with ample outdoor time although this is not necessarily required. She is calm when going new places but is a little nervous in the car getting there/drools. She is house and crate trained, but tends to pull on the leash (although she does enjoy going for walks). She is an affectionate girl who enjoys toys, cuddling on the couch or in bed with her humans, is intelligent, and eager to please - a great combination of traits! She does tend to alert bark, so may do best in a less dense area. She does know a few tricks like sit, down, and shake but does tend to jump on people and get some intense zoomies when running around outside (and she is quite a large dog who doesn't quite realize her size). If you felt love at first sight for Sheba Dragon, don't wait to apply to adopt her today! Medical Note: This dog tested positive for exposure to ehrlichia while in SOS foster care. This does not mean that this dog had ehrlichia. This dog is/has been asymptomatic while in SOS care and was preventatively treated with a 28-day course of doxycycline. Please see here for more information on ehrlichia: en.wikipedia/wiki/Ehrlichiosis_(canine) . Adoption Fee: $685 To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: .sosarl/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.

Breed overview

Overview:
Labrenees or Pyrador is the mix of one large-sized dog; the Great Pyrenees and one medium-sized dog; Labrador Retriever. As a hybrid, it has better quality than its parent breeds as the traits and characteristics are mixed. These are very large dogs that are typically more cooperative and trainable than the Great Pyrenees, but more discriminating and naturally protective than the Labrador Retriever.
