Emma is a Yorki who was found as a matted, emaciated stray & taken to one of our partner shelters. Emma had untreated glaucoma which caused irreversible damage that resulted in removal of both of her eyes. Estimated to be 5 years old Emma weighs 9#. Emma has had a hard life & will need a safe home with a fenced yard & a owner who understands that she sometimes needs a diaper when she can't be let out on a regular basis. Emma gets along with all the dogs & cats in her foster home & loves the big dog beds : Emma has been spayed & is current on all core vaccines. She is 4dx negative & has been treated for internal external parasites. Please note that Lost Fantasy does NOT adopt out to the first home that applies. We adopt to the home that is the best fit for the animal. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
